
Halo-Themed Xbox Controller – Commercial Asset Project
As part of a course assignment focused on creating commercially viable 3D assets, I designed and produced a Halo-themed Xbox controller. This project challenged us to meet industry-level standards in modeling, texturing, and presentation.
I modeled the entire controller from scratch using reference images to ensure accurate proportions and design fidelity. The texturing process involved creating custom materials and surface details to reflect the sci-fi aesthetic of the Halo franchise, including subtle weathering and branding elements. The goal was to produce a realistic, polished asset that could feasibly be used in promotional or retail contexts.
This project helped me strengthen my hard-surface modeling and texturing workflow, while also pushing me to think critically about how assets are presented in a commercial environment.
